Healthy Child Development The Positive Effects Of Preschool ...

The Personality of a Child is Created Thanks to Preschool Activities and Games

Preschool children should have a variety of different activities and games to encourage physical and mental development. By nature, young children are easily distracted and they have little attention span which means that you will be met with failure and frustration if you attempt to introduce them straight to academics. On the other hand, if imparted through fun and games, then they will embrace learning willingly and well.

In the process of learning, fun and games are both important

Considered as born learners are children because as soon as they can fix their eyesight, they are curious about their surroundings. Have you ever noticed the curious eyes of a newborn who would look at objects that are around their field of vision? Trying to turn that curiosity to actual learning is all you may have to do. Once they come to know that they have to learn to achieve something or even to please those whom they love, they will do that on their own.

The truth is something about it is special. Various things like drinking from a cup, using a fork, walking, using the potty, talking by watching and copying are what children learn. A very practical way of guiding a child through a new task is teaching them by example.

In order to for them to receive a happy nod from people they adore and love, there are also things that they learn like eating from a plate, not writing on the walls, keeping the toys in order, not breaking the toys, etc.

Another type of learning children go through in their preschool activities and games involves their participation and taking turns. A lesson in spelling is one such example in which they are asked to hunt for the right letter from a tray containing an assortment of letters and take turns telling a story.

Preschool activities and games can make a world of difference to children in their learning process during school days. Having a high retention value is what they learn in these preschool days and for years, the imprint stays and it has an impact on personality and attitude. Another thing that will depend on this is how receptive they will be.

According to a recently conducted study on children who dropped out of school, it was found that less likely to become high school drop outs were those who went through preschool activities and games and encountered early socialization skills.

Play thousands of adventure games on your computer. Take a break and enjoy games now.
