Recent retirement and other developments within the School of Health Sciences have resulted in the opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individuals to join the teaching team in Edinburgh. ?These two posts will contribute to the delivery of our successful undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Occupational Therapy, and you will pursue other scholarly activity in relation to the School strategic development plan.? The requirements of both posts infer you will preferably hold, or be working towards a postgraduate degree, have relevant post qualification experience and evidence of active continuing professional development.? Your outlook will be positive, and you will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to display potential leadership / innovation and you will work effectively with contacts / networks, colleagues and students. We actively welcome individuals with strong practice based experience that includes actively supporting students.
The position of Lecturer in Occupational Therapy (Practice Education) will hold shared responsibility for the co-ordination, development and review of practice education within the framework of our Occupational Therapy programmes. You will also contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning, teaching and assessment in the undergraduate and postgraduate Occupational Therapy programmes. ?Previous management experience/skills would be beneficial.
